Sports have always been an enormous part of my life. Growing up I spent the majority of my time around a rink or field, either playing or watching my family play.
Like most athletes I had my share of injuries, it was through rehabbing these injuries where my curiosity for injury prevention and treatment started. This curiosity grew into a passion while I was doing my Degree in Human Kinetics leading me to further pursue a Degree in Athletic Therapy.
Now I get to work hands on with athletes of all levels to do my part to keep them moving and doing what they love most.
Athletic therapy also gives me the opportunity to volunteer in the community. It allows me to do talks in schools with students about injury prevention and concussion awareness.

Through my AT career I have the privilege of working with a variety of sports including rugby, hockey, lacrosse and football to name a few. I have the opportunity of working with athletes of all levels from amateur all the way to National Athletes at Rugby Canada.
Being a Certified First Responder specialized in sports, means I am trained in proper gear removal and player safety in a variety of athletic settings. This is a great asset to have on the sidelines at any sporting event to keep players safe and provide them with immediate medical care.
